WHAT IS THE HIGHER GROUND AWARDS?
HIGHER GROUND AWARDSThe Higher Ground Awards is an awards ceremony/show to celebrate and promote independent media and performance arts individuals and production companies in the US. The Higher Ground Awards was birthed from the founder and visionary Tee Tunnell Harris, the CEO of The Keys Productions, a media and film company. This first awards ceremony will take place in the city of brotherly love and sisterly affection (Philadelphia, PA.) The mission of the awards are to celebrate the achievements of independent filmmakers, producers, directors, playwrights, entertainers and industry professionals that often are overlooked for their accomplishments in the community and industry. This is the first awards ceremony and will be an annual event to celebrate our talent and gifted men and women!

Submissions starts

Each Entry may be submitted to one or multiple categories. Only one entry can be submitted per category. There is a fee for each category entered. The registration will open October 30, 2019. Early bird entrants pay $25 per entry. Any project submitted after March 8, 2020, pay $35 per entry. If submitted after April 26, 2020, entries will require the late entry fee of $45 per entry. The Late Entry deadline is May 3, 2020, entries will close at 11:59 pm EDT. All entry fees are non-refundable.
